Day 01 (11/04) Yangon Arrival

Upon arrival at Yangon airport, you will be greeted for the hotel transfer. Enjoy your first visit in Yangon with a leisurely walk in Botataung, Ngatatgyi pagoda which features the holy pilgrimage sites with golden stupas, diamondized spires.

Day 02 (12/04) Yangon – Mandalay

Fly to Mandalay in the morning. The highlights of this day include Mahamuni Image Pagoda, Imperial Palace, then Shwenandaw Monastery which is well known for its exquisite wood carvings, followed by Atumashi Monastery and Kuthodaw pagoda - the world’s largest book with its 729 slabs of Marble engrave with Buddha scriptures. Enjoy a walk over U Bein bridge, the longest teak wood bridge in Burma (Myanmar). The evening ends with a stunning view treated at Mandalay Hill.

Day 03 (13/04) Mandalay - Yangon - Bago

We return to Yangon this day then continue to visit Bago, one of Burma's biggest religious hubs. Bago is the ancient capital of Mon Kingdom in 15th century. The most highlights of Bago including Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha, Kyaikpun Pagoda with its 28 meter high huge Buddha Image, Myo Ma Local Market, Chinese Kwanyin Temple and the Kanbawzathardi Palace of King Bayinnaung. Then drive back to Yangon Yangon on the way sightseeing at Allied War Memorial Cemetery. If the time permits, we will have a short visit to Thanlyin, formerly known as Syriam.

Day 04 (14/04) Yangon City Tour

After breakfast, stroll along the banks of Kandawgyi Lake in the centre of the city before we come to visit the Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, which is home to a huge Colossal Reclining Buddha. Continue to discover the Chinatown area.
In the afternoon we make our way to the unique Botataung Pagoda. When we walk inside the pagoda, we can see many ancient relics and artefacts displayed. The highlight of the day is a visit to the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, the most outstanding and revered Buddhist pagoda in Burma, whose golden stupa dominates the skyline of Yangon. This is also the most ideal spot from to see the sunset in Yangon.

Day 05 (15/04) Thingyan Water Festival

Get up early to fully attend the most wanted festival of the year of the Burma people, called Thingyan Water festival. The festival marks the turnpoint of the Lunar New Year. Splashing water on each other is a wonderful way to wash away bad lucks and sins of the previous year as well as to ease any simmering anger and resentment.

Rest on your own until the driver pick you up for the departure flight.
