Day 01: Yangon arrival

Upon arrival at Yangon airport, you will own arrange the transfer to your hotel. Free to discover the city at night.

Day 02: Yangon Sightseeing

Enjoy your orientation tour of Yangon with a walk from Sule pagoda to Strand Hotel where you will encounter numerous of British colonial buildings and Emmanuel Church. You will have chance to observe the local life on Yangon river side. Visit National Museum and China Town, White Elephants, Circle Train in the afternoon. Enjoy sunset by Kandawgyi Lake.

Day 03: Yangon - Mrauk U

Fly to Mrauk U. Upon arrival, check in hotel then do some sightseeing. Visit Shittaung Pagoda, perhaps the best preserved pagoda, and home to some 80,000 holy Buddha images. Wandering inside the pagoda via the interior passages to admire wonderful reliefs and Buddha images. The next destination is the Andaw Pagoda, an eight sided monument which is smaller than Shittaung but with a similar linear layout. We then continue to Dukkanthein, a construction of laterite and sandstone bricks that resembles a huge bunker from the outside. Enjoy sunset at Harre Taund Pagoda.

Day 04: Chin Tattoo Village

Begin the new day in Mrauk U's with the visits to main maket and Koe Thaung Temple. Continue to Lay Myo river bank then board a boat to Chin Tattoo area. Visit to waving project at the Chin village to know some tactics of theirs. The villagers are very basic life style. The most feature you can see here is the tattoo on the Chin ladies’ faces. Some Tattoo ladies are very proud of their tattoo designed on their faces and waving designed. You also have chance to interact with the local ethnic people to see how friendly and warm they are. Return to the hotel.

Day 05: Wethali Sightseeing

Drive to Wethali (Vesali) – the kingdom founded in the 4th century that prospered for some 400 years. The ruined city walls and moat give you an idea of how big the former city was. See the Great Image of Su Taun Prai, a 5-meter sitting Buddha in Rakhine-style, which is said to have been carved out of one piece of rock. Continue towards Mahamuni Pagoda, according to legend the original site of Mandalay's famous bronze Buddha image. Nowadays, three stone images sit on the pedestal that was once home to the Mahamuni Buddha. Return to Mrauk U. Lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch, we will visit the Maha Bandoola Monastery which houses a lot of ancient bronze images with inscriptions and an interesting collection of Rakhine-style Buddha images. Continue to some other temples of Mrauk U, which nestle amongst hills, streams and leafy trees. Stroll through the streets of Mrauk U to discover the city. In the late afternoon, go to Shwegutaung from where there is a good view over Mrauk U.

Day 06: Mrauk U – Sittwe – Yangon

Return to Sittwe by your private boat in the morning to catch the flight back to Yangon. The journey will be on the Kaladan River, through changing scenery, downriver towards the sea and Island, surrounding Sittwe. Once in Sittwe, pay a visit to Archaelogical Museum, Palace Site. Continue to sightsee the Fish Market, Cultural Museum. After returning to Yangon, free at leisure.

Day 07: Yangon - Bagan Heritages

This morning, fly to Bagan. Begin to visit the vibrant Nyaung Oo Market, the economic center of Bagan. Local people gather at this bustling market daily, to buy and sell a variety of goods, from fruit and vegetables to clothing, china, and lacquerware. Continue to the gold-plated Shwezigon Pagoda, Bagan’s greatest reliquary, built to house relics of the Buddha brought from abroad. From here, drive to the small village of Wetkyi-in to see the wonderful Kubyaukgyi Temple, renowned for its ancient murals. Your morning excursion also includes the Htilominlo Temple, which houses four Buddha figures on the ground floor and four more on the first floor. After lunch, continue your exploration of the city’s treasure trove of Buddhist art and architecture.
Take a horse-cart ride to Ananda Temple, home to four great, gilded Buddha statues. Later, visit Manuha temple then a lacquerware workshop to watch local artisans ply their ancient craft and see splendid examples of the completed product on display. The highlight of this day is the sunset from the second highest temple the Shwenandaw.

Day 08: Bagan Local Temples

Admire the beauty of Bagan from the space when floating on Balloon Ride. We then spend the rest of the day to explore the other temples of Bagan which consists of more than 2500 temples and pagodas. This archaeological site brings us to the scared history of ancient Bagan capital with the development of Buddhism including Mahabodhi, Dhammagangyi, Sulamani, Nandamannya, Thatbyinnuy. Enjoy sunset on a cruise along Irrawaddy river.

Day 09: Bagan – Mount Popa Day Trip – Salay

We then drive to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano with its shrines dedicated to animist spirits known as “Nats”. For the energetic, time to climb up the 777 steps to the shrine at the top of the volcanic plug. Then drive back to Bagan, en route visit Salay and Yoke Sone Kyaung, Thar Ta Na Yaung Chi Monastery.

Day 10: Mingun – Royal Ancient Palace

Board the flight to Mandalay in the morning. Start your sightseeing today with a boat ride upstream to Mingun, home to Uncomplete Wall, Sandamuni pagoda and Mingun ringing bell.
Our local expert will be pleased to introduce you the life of people who live on the banks of Irrawaddy River. After lunch, we will discover the royal Mandalay vestiges and relics covering Imperial Palace, Golden Palace Monastery and Kuthodaw Pagoda also known as the world biggest book. The highlight of this day is the panoramic sunset from the peak of Mandalay Hill.

Day 11: Mandalay Ancient Capitals

Today we travel outside the city to the Buddha land of Sagaing. This religion hub presents the education for monks with different level. Visit Sagaing University, followed by another visit to Buddha cave and U Min Thonze Pagoda, Soon U Pon Nya Shin Pagoda, Tupayon temple where you can enjoy the great view of Mandalay. This afternoon we will travel to Ava, Amarapura to discover the Maha Aungmye Bonzan, Gabaya Monastery, Leaning Nam Myint Tower and the nearby attractions. Enjoy a walk over U Bein bridge, the longest teak wood bridge in Myanmar. Transfer to the airport for your flight to the ancient capital of Bagan, one of Asia’s most extraordinary destinations.

Day 12: Mandalay – Kakku – Inle Lake

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Heho, the gateway to Inle Lake. This day, you will have a very interesting visit to Taunggyi and Kakku. On the way you can visit Shwe Yan Pyay in Nyaungshwe. After 1 and a half, you will reach Taunggyi, the capital of Shan State then visit the local market. Continue to Kakku, the non-touristic attraction with many stupas of Myanmar and Shan style located harmoniously. Return to Inle Lake. On the way back to Inle Lake, you can visit the Htan Cave which is a small copy of Pindaya and Indein.

Day 13: Inle Lake - Indein ruined temples

Skimming along the waterways in a long-tail boat, catch a first glimpse of floating gardens, stilt houses, and fishermen propelling their skiffs with one leg wrapped around an oar. Visit the infamous Phaung Daw U Pagoda, which enshrines five Buddha images believed to have been carried to this area by the widely-traveled 12thcentury King Alaungsithu then Nga Phe Chaung Monastery or Jumping Cat Monastery in other words. After lunch, we discover the ruined Indein, situated on the southwestern corner of the lake. Here you can wander through a typical lakeside village and observe local people in their daily activities. From the top of old Shwe Inn Dein, an impressive collection of ancient and unrestored Shan style stupas, enjoy a stunning view out across the lake and beyond.

Day 14: Inle Lake – Pindaya

Drive to Pindaya through the Shan Plateau, through fields of mountain rice. Visit magnificent Pindaya caves set in a limestone ridge overlooking a picturesque lake where thousands ofdifferent types of Buddha images are a display in the various cave chambers, then Shwe U Min Pagoda. Continue visit some local houses where families produce Shan paper and parasols. Overnight in Pindaya.

Day 15: Pindaya – Yangon

Fly back to Yangon in the morning. Visit Scott market, the biggest market in Yangon for a look at unique Myanmar products including gems and handicrafts. Spend the rest of the day free at leisure.
