Day 01: Yangon Arrival

Upon arrival at Yangon airport, you will be greeted for the hotel transfer. Explore the city on a walking tour. Stop for lunch at a local teashop to enjoy Burmese tea and an assortment of snacks and noodles and soak in the local culture.

Day 02: Yangon - Bagan

Fly to Bagan in the morning. Explore Bagan’s most important pagodas. Have lunch at La Min Thit Burmese restaurant, a great place to try a local style curry lunch and a variety of Burmese dishes. Enjoy the sunset from one of the open upper terraces of a temple.

Day 03: Bagan Discovery

This morning, visit the colourful Nyaung Oo Market and visit a Pone Yay Gyi shop, Bagan’s most famous food treat. For lunch, we venture outside of town and visit a local family and enjoy lunch in their home. After that, return to Bagan and visit a lacquer warehouse, and witness the skills of the artists. Board a boat to cruise the Irrawaddy River to enjoy magnificent views of the temples and riverside villages as the sun begins to set.

Day 04: Mandalay Sightseeing

Board your morning flight to Mandalay. Visit the Mahamuni Pagoda, famous for its venerable statue of Buddha covered with gold leaf, then traditional workshops. Take a break from sightseeing to discover another uniquely Burmese culinary treat, Le Phet Thoke, a local salad made from fermented tea leaves. For lunch, stop at Min Thiha tea shop, which is a popular tea. After lunchtime, we will continues with another visit to the Shwenandaw Monastery which is well known for its exquisite wood carvings, followed by Atumashi Monastery and Kuthodaw pagoda - the world’s largest book with its 729 slabs of Marble engrave with Buddha scriptures. The evening ends with a stunning view treated at Mandalay Hill.

Day 05: Mandalay - Inle Lake

Embark on a flight to Inle Lake. This day is spent visiting the local markets and cruising around the lake passing villages built on stilts and interacting with the locals. Also visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, containing five sacred Buddha images covered in gold leaf.

Day 06: Inle Lake Culinary - Yangon

Visit Red Mountain Estate Vineyards and Winery and enjoy magnificent views of Inle Lake while you taste Red Mountain Estate wines. Have lunch at View Point Restaurant which features some of the best Shan food in the country. After lunch, visit two pagodas each with their own unique features. Transfer to Heho airport for your flight back to Yangon.

Day 07: Yangon Cooking Class

This morning, visit a local market with an experienced chef to select the necessary items for your personal cooking lesson. Return to Monsoon Restaurant where you will be guided through the preparation of several popular Burmese dishes. Then enjoy your own prepared delicious meal. This afternoon, visit Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda, which houses a 70-meter reclining Buddha and Shwedagon Pagoda, the most revered Buddhist temple in Burma.
