Day 01: Yangon Arrival

Arrival in the morning in Yangon. Being transferred to the hotel for refreshment after a overhaul long flight. In the afternoon start the sightseeing with Chaukhtatgyi pagoda, the huge statue of the reclining Buddha, the center of the city and, at sunset, the impressive Shwedagon Pagoda (Golden Pagoda), symbol of the city, more than 100 high meters and topped by a "hti" decorated with hundreds of diamonds and precious stones. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 02: Yangon - Inle Lake Sightseeing

In the morning transfer to airport for flight to Heho. Continue by bus to the shores of Inle Lake (27 km - 1 hour), located approximately 900 m asl After lunch at a local restaurant boat trip to visit the pagoda Phaungdaw, the most sacred religious site of the southern Shan State, where there are five statues covered with gold leaf and the monastery "of cats jumping", built on wooden stilts. Along the way you will be able to observe the characteristics of vessels with the "fishermen rowing with his leg" and the "floating gardens".

Day 03: Indein - Mandalay

Day 04: Mandalay Sightseeing

Day 05: Bagan Sightseeing

This morning, fly to Bagan. Begin to visit the vibrant Nyaung Oo Market, the economic center of Bagan. Local people gather at this bustling market daily, to buy and sell a variety of goods, from fruit and vegetables to clothing, china, and lacquerware. Continue to the gold-plated Shwezigon Pagoda, Bagan’s greatest reliquary, built to house relics of the Buddha brought from abroad. From here, drive to the small village of Wetkyi-in to see the wonderful Kubyaukgyi Temple, renowned for its ancient murals. Your morning excursion also includes the Htilominlo Temple, which houses four Buddha figures on the ground floor and four more on the first floor. After lunch, continue your exploration of the city’s treasure trove of Buddhist art and architecture.

Day 06: Bagan

Spend the remainder of the day continuing to explore Bagan which consists of more than 2500 temples and pagodas and mingle with the daily life of the locals. This archaeological site brings us to the scared history of ancient Bagan capital with the development of Buddhism. Visit archaeological museum. As we travel further into the land of temple spires, Gawdamgangyi, and Manuha, Kaweyai villages. We continue to visit the lacquarware factory in the afternoon.
The highlight of this day is the sunset from the second highest temple the Shwenandaw. Enjoy a traditional puppet show at your hotel.

Return to Yangon in the morning then spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 09: Angkor Thom

Visit Angkor Thom, capital of Angkor from the tenth to the fifteenth century. If Angkor Wat is the masterpiece of classical Hinduism, Angkor Thom testifies to the passage of a different inspiration, that of Mahayana Buddhism gained after the catastrophe of 1177, when Angkor was submerged by the invasion of Cham from what is now Vietnam . Spokesman for this change was the King Jayavarman VII, who completely restructured and Angkor, with a feverish campaign building from 1181 to 1220, built the fortified city of Angkor Thom, which means "the town that sustains the world by giving it its own law." Day 10: Angkor Thom

Visit the temple of Banteay Srei, about 28 kilometers from the city, considered a jewel of Khmer art, also known as the "Temple of females." Day 12: Pak Ou cave

The Morning visit to the local market and the Royal Palace with its museum. Departure for the excursion to the caves of Pak Ou located approximately 25 kilometers by boat from Luang Prabang along the Mekong River at the mouth of the Nam Ou River: these are two caves located at the bottom of a cliff of limestone filled d 'Buddha images of all styles and sizes. Lunch at local restaurant. Return to Luang Pabang with a stop in the village of weavers of Ban Phanom.

Day 13: Luang Prabang Departure
