Day 01: Yangon arrival

Upon arrival at Yangon airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Visit the huge Reclining Buddha Statue at the Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, followed by a visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda - one of the world's most spectacular monuments. You can enjoy the beautiful and stunning sunset at the pagoda and take the best photos. Return to the hotel for rest and free to discover the city at night.

Day 02: Yangon - Bagan

This morning, fly to Bagan. Begin to visit the vibrant Nyaung Oo Market, the economic center of Bagan. Local people gather at this bustling market daily, to buy and sell a variety of goods, from fruit and vegetables to clothing, china, and lacquerware. Continue to the gold-plated Shwezigon Pagoda, Bagan’s greatest reliquary, built to house relics of the Buddha brought from abroad. From here, drive to the small village of Wetkyi-in to see the wonderful Kubyaukgyi Temple, renowned for its ancient murals. Your morning excursion also includes the Htilominlo Temple, which houses four Buddha figures on the ground floor and four more on the first floor. After lunch, continue your exploration of the city’s treasure trove of Buddhist art and architecture.

Day 03: Bagan - Mandalay - Amarapura

Board the flight to Mandalay in the morning. We will discover the royal Mandalay vestiges and relics covering Mahamuni Image Pagoda, Imperial Palace, Golden Palace Shwenandaw Monastery and Kuthodaw Pagoda also known as the world biggest book.
This afternoon we will travel to Ava, Amarapura to discover the Maha Aungmye Bonzan, Gabaya Monastery, Leaning Nam Myint Tower and the nearby attractions. Enjoy a walk over U Bein bridge, the longest teak wood bridge in Myanmar. Transfer to the airport for your flight to the ancient capital of Bagan, one of Asia’s most extraordinary destinations.

Day 04: Inle Lake - Indein ruined temples

Board a morning flight to Inle Lake. Upon arrival, enjoy a scenic drive to Nyaungshwe. Skimming along the waterways in a long-tail boat, catch a first glimpse of floating gardens, stilt houses, and fishermen propelling their skiffs with one leg wrapped around an oar. Visit the infamous Phaung Daw U Pagoda, which enshrines five Buddha images believed to have been carried to this area by the widely-traveled 12thcentury King Alaungsithu then Nga Phe Chaung Monastery or Jumping Cat Monastery in other words. After lunch, we discover the ruined Indein, situated on the southwestern corner of the lake. Here you can wander through a typical lakeside village and observe local people in their daily activities. From the top of old Shwe Inn Dein, an impressive collection of ancient and unrestored Shan style stupas, enjoy a stunning view out across the lake and beyond.

Day 05: Inle Lake - Yangon

Return to Yangon in the morning. On the way to hotel, you can pay a visit to Mahapasana Cave (if situation permits) where Sixth Buddhist Synod was held, then Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda) and Karaweik Royal Barge. Free at leisure. Inthe afternoon, we will visit the Sule Pagoda, Chinatown and the downtown area before passing by the Bogyoke Market (Scotts market ) with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems store.

Day 06: Yangon - Bangkok

Free and leisure until transfer to the airport for flight to Bangkok.
Upon arrival, being met met then picked up by tour guide for a transfer to the hotel. Check in the hotel and free at leisure.

Day 07: Bangkok full day tour

In the morning, we take a half day tour to Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha Temple. The Grand Palace was built in 1782 by King Rama I and the former Royal Residence of the Chakri Kings and the centre of power for more than 150 years. It is the perfect example of an ancient Siamese court. The Emerald Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Kaew), is located right next to the Grand Palace together form perhaps the greatest spectacle for the visitor to Bangkok. Despite the fact that the whole compound is so full of tourists you spend half the time trying to avoid getting in people’s photos, it’s still pretty amazing place to visit. It consists of over 100 brightly colored building, golden spires and glittering mosaics, and dates back to 1782, when Bangkok was founded.
In the afternoon, we continue with the visits to some other famous temples in Bangkok, including the Wat Pho (Wat Chetuporn or Golden Buddha Image), that boasts the over 45-meters long Reclining Buddha. We end the tour with a visit to the Wat Benchamaborpit (also known as the Marble Temple): a representation of an outstanding success of marriage between Italian Carrara marble and classical Thai architecture.

Day 08: Floating Market & Rose Garden

We spend full day exploring the Damnoensaduak Floating Market and the Rose Garden. The tour also includes a visit to Nakorn Pathom; site of the highest Chedi in Thailand called Phra Pathom Chedi and the largest pagoda in Southeast Asia.
An excellent international buffet lunch will be served at the picturesque Rose Garden Aprime Country Resort. Afterwards, attend the Thai village show at the Thai Village, giving a short introduction into the many customs of Thai life. The show includes the colorful Buddhist ordination procession, an elegant fingernail dance, a Thai boxing demonstration, Hill Tribe dance performances, sword-fighting, elephants at work, charming folk dances and a traditional Thai wedding ceremony and much more.

Day 09: Bangkok – Luang Prabang

Free at leisure until our guide and driver come to transfer you to airport for the flight to Luang Prabang.
On arrival, you will be met by our tour guide and driver then being transferred to the hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 10: Luang Prabang Sightseeing

This day is spent for a full day city tour, with a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts. Then enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. After that, we also visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham. After lunchtime, visit the Arts and Ethnology Centre to learn about Laos’ many ethnic cultures before coming to see the weaving villages of Ban Xiengkhong and Ban Xienglek. Return to the city for a visit to Wat Mai. We then climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a panoramic view of the city at sunset and the Mekong River. Return to the hotel for a rest. You can visit the famous Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.

Note: the Royal Palace Museum is closed on Tuesdays.

Day 11: Pakou Caves and Khuangsi Waterfall

Cruise upstream on the Mekong River to interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves. On the way, you will be confronted by a panaromic view of the tranquil countryside and we stop to see the small village of Ban Xanghai, where the local rice wine is distilled. The Caves is crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims.
Return to the city in the afternoon, we continue our excursion toward Khuangsi Waterfall, en route, we visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, Hmong Village, Ban Ou, Laoloum Village and Ban Thapene, Khmu Village. Once arrive in the Khuangsi Waterfall which is set really a paradise, you can splash around in the turquoise pools or walk along the forest trails. Back to Luang Prabang in the late afternoon, admiring the sunset at Wat Phabath.

Day 12: Luang Prabang departure

Rest and unwind until being transferred to the airport for your onward flight home. Bid farewell to Luang Prabang with the best memory of the Burma Thailand Laos Tour.
