Day 01 Yangon arrival

Upon your arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Spa treatments and aroma therapy massage are available at the hotel upon your request.

Day 02: Yangon Sightseeing

Visit the Sule pagoda and the bustling downtown area, taking in the rich colonial architecture and bustling streets and markets. In the afternoon we make our way to the Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, which is home to a huge Colossal Reclining Buddha. The highlight of the day is a visit to the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, the most outstanding and revered Buddhist pagoda in Burma, whose golden stupa dominates the skyline of Yangon. Return to the hotel for rest and free to discover the city at night.

Day 03: Inle Lake Cooking Class

Fly to Inle Lake in the morning. Upon arrival, being transferred to your hotel on the lake. Indulge yourselves in a cooking class. It is the no better chance for you to explore the methods and tactics to prepare and make some of the Shan State foods. Free at leisure. In the afternoon, skim along the waterways in a long-tail boat, catch a first glimpse of floating gardens, stilt houses, and fishermen propelling their skiffs with one leg wrapped around an oar. Visit the infamous Phaung Daw U Pagoda, which enshrines five Buddha images believed to have been carried to this area by the widely-traveled 12thcentury King Alaungsithu then Nga Phe Chaung Monastery or Jumping Cat Monastery in other words. Overnight in Inle Lake.

Day 04: Excursion on Inle Lake

Boating to western part of the lake where we will be encountered by the ruined Indein, situated on the southwestern corner of the lake. Here you can wander through a typical lakeside village and observe local people in their daily activities. From the top of old Shwe Inn Dein, an impressive collection of ancient and unrestored Shan style stupas, enjoy a stunning view out across the lake and beyond.
We then ride our boat to the Nampan and Innpawkhone villages. Here we get an ideal chance to see some traditional cigar making and silk weaving, and hopefully some local fishermen practicing their uniquely distinctive rowing technique.

Day 05: Flight to Mandalay

Rest and unwind until the guide and driver come to transfer you to the airport for the afternoon flight to Mandalay. Free at leisure and overnight in Mandalay.

Day 06: Mandalay Balloon Ride - Amarapura

This morning we fly on a Balloon Ride over Mandalay to see the cultural city from space. We thn explore Mahamuni Image Pagoda then the Royal Mandalay vestiges and relics covering Imperial Palace, Golden Palace Monastery, well-known for its exquisite wood carvings and Kuthodaw Pagoda also known as the world biggest book. In the afternoon, we will travel to Ava, Amarapura to discover the Maha Aungmye Bonzan, Gabaya Monastery, Leaning Nam Myint Tower and the nearby attractions. Enjoy a walk over U Bein bridge, the longest teak wood bridge in Myanmar.

Day 07: Cruise to Bagan

This morning, we embark on (probably RV Min Kyan Sit) romatic cruise to travel downstream to Bagan. The cruise halts enroute to visit Mingun to see the Mingun Bell and Pahtodawgyi unfinished Pagoda, Hsinbyume. These attractions symbol the culturally wonderful values that Burma has to offer.
After lunch, we set sail down to Bagan. Along the Irrawaddy River, we can see the fascinating landscapes as well as the daily life of the people living. Halt at Yandabo Pottery village to see the pottery making process at various stages. Yandabo is the place where the Peace Yandabo Treaty was signed between the British and Royal Burmese House-hold of Ava.

Day 08: Bagan Disembarkation

Get up early in the morning then admire the beautiful sunset. Stop at Shwe Pyi Thit village to enjoy the rural life. After lunch on board, we disembark at Nyaung Oo Jetty then being picked up for the hotel transfer. The highlight of this day is the sunset from the second highest temple the Shwenandaw.

Day 09: Bagan Temples

Begin your tour today with the visit to the vibrant Nyaung Oo Market, the economic center of Bagan. Local people gather at this bustling market daily, to buy and sell a variety of goods, from fruit and vegetables to clothing, china, and lacquerware. Continue to the gold-plated Shwezigon Pagoda, Bagan’s greatest reliquary, built to house relics of the Buddha brought from abroad. From here, drive to the small village of Wetkyi-in to see the wonderful Kubyaukgyi Temple, renowned for its ancient murals, Ananda temple, one of the most well-preserved monuments in entire Bagan. Your morning excursion also includes the Htilominlo Temple, which houses four Buddha figures on the ground floor and four more on the first floor. After lunch, continue your exploration of the city’s treasure trove of Buddhist art and architecture then a visit to the lacquarware factory.

Day 10: Bagan - Ngapali Beach

Fly to Ngapali via Heho in the morning. It takes some 10 minute drive from Thandwe Airport to your hotel. Here, in the Bay of Bengal is the beautiful Ngapali beach with its charming fishing village and verdant coconut trees. Overnight at Ngapali.

Day 11: Ngapali Beach

Spend another days of leisure at the Ngapali Beach. Some activities recommended include relaxing on the beach, swimming or taking a biking excursion to surrounding villages to see local fishermen and observe their daily work. Those seeking a bit more adventurous experiences can take a boat trip to swim, snorkel or dive around the nearby islands.

Day 12: Flight to Yangon

Relax in the morning before we return to Yangon on an afternoon flight. Visit the busy 79-year old Scott market with its large collection of local handicrafts, souvenirs and other items. Enjoy our complimentary farewell dinner at the famous Le Planteur restaurant with candle light.
